MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER INVITATION to TENDER for PASTURE Tenders will be received by the undersigned for the leasing of the following land NW 17-12-18 W4 and SW 20-12-18 W4 (320 Acres Pasture) The Tender is for the rights to lease the NW 17-12-18 W4 & SW 20-12-18-W4 for the purpose of grazing cattle for the 2018 grazing season only (one year lease) Tender Conditions and Guidelines: Bidders will be basing bids on 1 year of cash rent. A cheque for the full amount of the tender is to be included with tender (including GST). Cheques from unsuccessful bidders will be returned Only tenders from residents of the M.D. of Taberl be accepted Subleasing of municipal land is not permitted. Cattle grazed on M.D property must carry the registered brand of the leaseholder Animal Unit Month (AUM) allocation for pasture is set at 100 Fence maintenance is the responsibility of the lessee. Both quarter sections are currently fenced as one pasture Cattle must be removed from pasture by November 15, 2018. No supplemental feeding of cattle is permitted Tender eligibility conditional on bidder being in good standing with the M.D. of Taber, having no outstanding property taxes or utility accounts bylaw enforcement or compliance orders. Successful bidders will be required to sign a M.D. of Taber grazing lease agreement, a copy of which can be viewed at the municipal office during business hours or on the M.D. of Taber website The Municipal District of Taber reserves the right to reject any or all tenders Lessee responsible for paying municipal property taxes ($212.75 in 2018).
